Each week GardenSmart features some really great plants that you might want to grow yourself. Many of the plants featured on GardenSmart are available at your local garden center, while others are quite new and still hard to find. To solve the problem of locating new plants, Garden Crossings? and Proven Winners? ColorChoice? have assembled a selection of plants you?ve seen on the show so you can buy them and enjoy them in your own garden.

Sugar Tip Hibiscus
A new Rose of Sharon, Sugar Tip® is one of those beautiful small trees that should grow in every garden. This Hibiscus syriacus is the only variegated Rose of Sharon with double blooms. Even when it is not in blossom, the beautiful cream and green foliage adds subtle color to a garden bed or border. It is a pleasing pastel, suitable for a pale garden pallet or as a restful spot in an exuberantly colorful garden.
If you have had problems with other hibiscus self-sowing all over your garden, Sugar Tip® will win you over. This hibiscus not only shows off with oodles of pale pink double flowers, it does not set seed and is non-invasive. Give it full sun in USDA Zones 5-8 and it will give you an 8-12 foot tall splash of quiet color.
